Further Research Sources

During my research journey I was part of the Center for Enterprise Information Research, abbreviated CEIR (https://ceir.de/). The people working in CEIR are part of two research groups from the University of Koblenz Landau: the research group Business Software and the Enterprise Information Management research group. Both groups are researching in the areas of IT-enabled business change and the digital workplace.

Especially the project IndustryConnect (https://industryconnect.de/) is mainly concerned with addressing “current problems and issues in the field of Collaboration, i.e. joint work and active knowledge exchange among employees in companies using Enterprise Collaboration Systems.” Example topics which are covered:

  • Benefits Realisation Management
  • Social Collaboration Analytics
  • Social Process Mining
  • Sociotechnical Change
  • Use Cases and Collaboration Scenarios
  • Social Objects

If you are interested in further research around collaboration technologies you might be interested in visiting the websites above and get in contact with the researchers.

Additionally, if you are interested in practical discussions around IBM Collaboration solutions such as IBM Connections, I can recommend you the German IBM User Group DNUG (https://dnug.de/en/).
